In a picturesque Ukrainian village, Galya and Ivanko, both in their early 20s, meet by chance when Ivanko's rake catches a thread on Galya's apron. This seemingly small moment sets the stage for an intricate tale of connection, love, and miscommunication. Drawn to each other, they embark on a journey full of misunderstandings, missteps, and missed opportunities. Ivanko, determined to win Galya's heart, faces a series of setbacks, including a mistaken kiss with his lively neighbor, Natalka, which only deepens the divide between him and Galya.
