Qahera

Qahera is a short film that explores the complex relationship between a person and a place through a deeply personal lens, reflecting on the rapid transformations happening in the city of Cairo. Rooted in a personal experience, the film traces the director’s early passion for photography—sparked at the age of 10 when his father gifted him his first camera. Since then, photography has become a tool for seeing, processing, and understanding the world around him.
