Mensajero

A young painter, confined to his home in an Andean village, tries to avoid contracting a pandemic. In his daily routine, he listens to radio reports about the corruption among local authorities regarding their handling of the pandemic. These reports distress him, but he continues working to support himself. In his confinement, he decides to paint, convinced that there are still ways to survive through his art. With each brushstroke, he creates a colorful and sublime Andean image intended to convey a message. Ignoring the alarming news and the national anthem, he perseveres, and his inspiration takes shape: an oil painting with a message of hope.
