Vallechallay

For several months, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, young people from the Sondondo Valley in Lucanas (Ayacucho), involved in education, art, and culture, met with a group of theater and independent documentary professionals. From this process, from these numerous encounters, enrichments, and exchanges, emerged not only the identity of the collective, Vallechallay, but also 11 stories. These stories form a documentary series that testifies to the vitality of the Valley's social and political life, questions its contemporary and rural memories, and transforms the usual formats for audiovisual content production in this region.
