It’s a hopeful and touching story about making a change for your local society in spite of structural inequality between gender. Through the development project called Youth Speak Up, the Danish NGO Ghana Friendship has created a platform where young Ghanaians, like Helen, get an opportunity to shed light on cultural taboos as teenage pregnancy, the education of women and abortion.
