Arturo Palacios, a BMW specialist mechanic, has dedicated more than 50 years to repairing cars, driven by a deep love for mechanics that has made him a reference in his trade. However, the weight of his workshop responsibilities is seriously affecting his health. Arturo faces a crucial decision: to leave mechanics behind to care for his health, or continue working to support his family financially. Through his story, the documentary explores how Arturo’s physical and emotional wear mirrors that of the cars he repairs, and how a life devoted to his passion can become unsustainable when demands and responsibilities exceed all limits. Yet, Arturo’s continued presence in the workshop is not only due to economic necessities, but also the difficulty of parting from a world that has been with him his whole life, and a profound longing to see all his children become professionals.
