Orphans Of World War II

A harrowing ten-year journey was endured by 123 Polish orphans, forcibly displaced from their homeland by the Soviets. They traveled between Asia and Africa before finally settling in Canada. War stole their childhood, and conflict stripped them of their identity and homeland. Their testimonies today reveal the tragedy of an entire generation, victims of totalitarian regimes and conflicts that show no mercy to humanity or its memory.
