‘Eki-ben Detective: Tokunosuke Jimbo’ is a police drama series that aired on the TBS network from 2007 to 2017. It consisted of 11 episodes in total. The lead role was played by Toshiichi Kobayashi. The series attracted attention for featuring a father-and-son acting duo with Ken Kobayashi. Whilst the series was generally scheduled to air during the Golden Week period each year, the sixth, seventh and ninth instalments were broadcast in spring, and the eleventh in winter.
